This 16,000 square foot three story condominium was one of several built in the Myrtle Beach area. The walls utilized structural timber for gravity support and timber shearwalls for lateral resistance. The floors and roof utilized prefabricated timber trusses. The structure is designed to resist 130 MPH winds and Seismic Design Category D loadings.
